- 24 foot mooring barge with 4 ton hydraulic winch
- We can install your new gear or ours at your desired location
- Remove an old mooring and replace it with new or reconditioned gear
- Lift your existing gear and move it to a new location
- Fall and spring service:
- Fall Service
- Haul mooring and leave on beach for customer pick-up
- Haul mooring and bring to Town River Marina and store for winter
- Haul rates depend on the weight of the mooring
- Remove chain float, pendant and pick-up buoy and store for winter at Town River Marina, place winter log on mooring
- Remove chain float, pendant and pick-up buoy, place winter log on mooring. Customer takes gear home
- Spring Service
- Stored gear will be power washed to remove marine growth, letters and numbers touched up and the bottom half of the chain float can be coated with anti-fouling paint
- Remove winter log and install chain float, pendant and pick-up buoy
- Install mushroom anchor and related gear by reference to GPS locator
- Inspections
- Lift your mooring for periodic municipal inspection and document the condition for the local harbormaster
- Dive on larger moorings and inspect in place. Document the condition for the local harbormaster
- Reconditioning of existing gear
- Lift your old mooring and replace worn chain, shackles, swivels, chain float or pick-up buoy at the mooring field
- Custom splice new pendants
- Lift your old mooring, remove worn eye and weld replacement. Replace worn tackle as above and return to mooring field
